In a futuristic world, men have become senseless, incapable of loving, laughing, suffering, crying or even dreaming.
Only a few human beings, some women, still have those capacities. They are called "the crying women". Raised in specific establishments, they are then sold to the "powerful leaders".
The "powerful leaders" belong to the high society. They detain the money and therefore can easily acquire those "crying women", who will feed the dream machines with their tears.
Lacrimosa is the story of one of these "powerful leaders" and of his personal "Crying Woman".
For this specific project, I had to create three pieces featuring the abstract dimension of dream. It also included work on a series of transition pieces in between the scenes, experimenting from ambiant effects to radiophonic samples and also going through sound sampling of the dream machine.
